Director of Supply Chain

Our client is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Supply Chain to lead our Supply Chain team. This role will lead key supply chain projects and initiatives that will deliver value to both our organization and our top customers. The “right fit” candidate will be adept in building collaborative relationships with our customers as well as with other internal departments integral to the success of our organization. He/she will lead cross-functional supply chain projects, proactively identify and execute strategies to reduce costs of service and enhance the overall customer experience to ensure continued sales growth. Up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities:

· Serve as the primary supply chain connection to the customer, leading customer engagements and collaborating with our most valued customers to drive mutually beneficial programs

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales and supply chain functions to drive integrated teamwork

· Provide strategic direction to supports optimization of the supply chain network and overall cost structure

· Leverage available and emerging technology to help advance organizational initiatives

· Develop innovative supply chain strategies that promote sales growth, improve service, and provide an enhanced customer experience

· Lead cross-functional supply chain projects, proactively driving successful project execution

Requirements:

· 10+ years leadership experience in Supply Chain functions, e.g. Planning, Sourcing, Distribution, Customer Service, etc.

· 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing supply chain role

· End-to-end Supply Chain experience and broad knowledge of full Order-to-Cash cycle

· Thought leadership experience on current and emerging supply chain technology

Desired:

· Bachelor’s Degree in a supply chain or business-related function

· Experience in leading cross-functional complex projects and driving continuous improvement

· Previous experience leading Supply Chain initiatives with customers in Consumer and / or B2B industries
