The Precision Diagnostic Specialist (PDS) will be responsible for driving sales in the assigned territory and must be seen as a valued partner to all healthcare professionals and their patients. The PDS will understand and be knowledgeable on all SkylineDx products, services, and policies as they apply to the role. The PDS will also drive/create strategic business opportunities and partnerships with Academic Surgeons, community cancer centers, dermatology clinics and hospitals/laboratories within the specified territory while developing a comprehensive business plan to gain and retain new and existing clients that aligns with corporate goals.

Duties:

  • Effectively prospect to find and close new opportunities in existing and new accounts.
  • Manage a funnel of leads and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce) and provide an accurate monthly sales forecast and territory update.
  • Address customer needs, adapt to market dynamics and develop strategies to support sales success.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, industry and government regulations pertaining to ethical business practices.
  • Participate and attend industry related meetings, both locally/regionally and National Conventions.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan that will enable SkylineDx to gain market share and achieve sales goals in the Territory/Region.
  • Co-ordinate and establish educational opportunities for HCP such as webinars, speaker events, lunch n learns and other customer facing opportunities.
  • Conduct formal presentations to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Complete timely and accurate administrative tasks as directed by home office and training program.
  • Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships and KOL’s within the assigned territory.
  • Build the company’s presence and credibility within the dermatology arena with a strong focus on the clinical utility of the product.
  • Execute on sales strategies and tactics while implementing the corporate sales and marketing plan.
  • Maintain a high level of product and market knowledge in the Melanoma field.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Certification:

  • 4- year bachelor’s degree BA/BS (preferably in life science or business) or equivalent work experience
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years previous dermatology, oncology, pathology, or laboratory sales experience with documented results.
  • Ability to travel with overnight stays required as needed up to 50%+ of the time.
  • Practical experience with CRM and all relevant Office-based software
  • Experience managing customer relationships in multiple therapeutic areas such as oncology/dermatology/surgery/pathology.
  • Highly motivated and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in all aspects.
  • Candidate must live in the assigned geographic territory.
