Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Radiology Tech / X-Ray Tech for a 13-week contract position in Peoria, IL. This role involves performing a range of diagnostic imaging procedures during day shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in radiology and x-ray technology, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiographic and x-ray procedures according to physician orders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  • Float to different areas within the facility as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent program.
  • Illinois MRT Licensure.
  • ARRT (R) certification required.
  • BLS certification (AHA only).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech or X-Ray Tech.
  • Previous travel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work day shifts.
  • Ability to meet Joint Commission standards, including passing a background check and drug screen.
