Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Sonography Techfor a 13-week contract position in Peoria, IL. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures during day shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in ultrasound technology and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including vascular, abdominal, and obstetric/gynecological scans.
  • Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Document and communicate patient information accurately using EMR systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program.
  • Certification in Ultrasound Sonography required.
  • BLS certification (AHA only).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Sonography Tech.
  • Ability to work day shifts.
  • Experience with various ultrasound modalities, including vascular and OB/GYN, is preferred.
  • Ability to meet Joint Commission standards, including passing a background check and drug screen.
