Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a “Radiology Technologist” position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Madison, WI. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Job Description:

Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Duration: 13 weeks (Possible Extensions)

Location: Rochester, NY

Schedule: 5x8 hrs (40 hrs/week)

Shift: Days

Pay Range: $2600 – $2744 / week DOE

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and committed Radiology Tech to become part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under minimal supervision, coordinating daily activities and clerical tasks.
  • Document patient history, verify identification, and prepare contrast media as required for procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians, selecting and operating equipment based on procedural needs, ensuring proper anatomical positioning.
  • Maintain records in compliance with departmental standards and produce high-quality images in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment.
  • Assist patients with mobility, frequently engaging in physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and operating equipment in varying environmental conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years clinical imaging experience required.
  • Recent acute care or surgery center experience with portable CARM experience.
  • Prior traveler experience.
  • ARRT Certification
  • NYS Radiological License
  • BLS - issued by American Heart Association only
  • Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Rochester
