Offering:

· Full time positions with open availability to work a 30 hour work week. Weekends required.

· Competitive compensation starting at $17.25 / hour with Wages + Tips averaging up to $27.00 + / hour

Strive for quality in every decision, every day through:

· Supporting the quality of products and services for the Food, Coffee, Beverage + Service Programs

· Provide excellent customer service, operating the point of sale, and making great tasting espresso beverages

· Using your technical knowledge and ability to produce exceptional quality coffee

· Make espresso drinks while maintaining standards set by Mr. West

· Knowledge and understanding of menus (coffee, wine, food, cocktails and their selling points)

· Serving and working the floor on any given day as a Barista and /or a Front of House support

· Engaging with and understanding our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication

· Maintains excellent quality standards and procedures on coffee, bar, and food program

· Actively assisting fellow team members in meeting the needs of the guest

· Keeping and maintaining storage of product through organization, cleanliness, and inventory counts

· Following company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards



Qualifications:

· 2+ years previous experience in a specialty coffee barista position

· Experience in high-volume and/or guest facing café and/or food service preferred

· Working knowledge and/or exposure to dining room and service standards, procedures, and functions

· Valid Food Handler and MAST Certification required

· Ability to succeed in a team environment and independently

· Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

· Strong communication skills



PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • Work is performed primarily in a cafe setting with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift. Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
