Marketing Sales Manager – Industrial Staffing Company

Salary: $85,000 base, and up, based on demonstrated success

Benefits: Full benefits package including car, profit sharing, and commission plan

Location: Victorville, CA

Reports to: Chief Business Development Officer

Company Overview:
We are a 35-year-old, industry-leading staffing firm specializing in providing skilled talent to heavy industry. Our commitment to in-depth screening, OSHA compliance, and safety training sets us apart. We're now looking to expand our team with a dedicated Marketing Sales Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, industrial-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to generate new business in the industrial staffing sector.
    • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers in industrial firms.
    • Lead efforts to expand the company’s national footprint by developing targeted marketing initiatives and networking at trade associations and industry events.
  • Team Leadership & Internal Management:
    • Provide daily oversight of the internal marketing and sales teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.
    • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve peak performance and foster team development.
    • Develop performance metrics and oversee staff management to ensure the team is meeting business objectives.
  • National Marketing Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement new marketing initiatives to drive national expansion.
    • Work with marketing teams to execute campaigns tailored to the industrial staffing market.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 12-25 years of sales and marketing experience, with a proven track record in the staffing industry (preferably in heavy industry or a related field).
    • Proven success in managing teams, with daily oversight of internal staff.
    • Experience developing and leading national marketing initiatives.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience managing internal teams and overseeing their day-to-day activities.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proven ability to attend, network, and build relationships at trade associations and industry events.
    • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, develop strategies, and drive business results.

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
  • Commission Plan: Generous commission structure based on sales performance
  • Profit Sharing: Participation in company profit-sharing plan
