Position Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Swimming Pool Technician to manage residential and commercial routes. This role isn’t just about maintaining pristine pools; it’s about taking ownership, driving excellence, and having the potential to step into a managerial position as our company grows. Experience as a Swimming Pool Technician is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Clean and maintain swimming pools and spas, ensuring water quality meets all safety standards. (primarily working a pool route in Santa Barbara, Montecito, Summerland and Carpinteria).
  • Chemical Balancing: Test and adjust water chemistry to maintain ideal pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels.
  • Equipment Management: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing.
  • Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Route Management: Efficiently plan and manage daily service routes in Goleta, Santa Barbara, Montecito, and Carpinteria.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, adhering to company protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Leadership Development: Show initiative and drive, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and potentially advance to a managerial role.
  • Additional: The employee will also be working with the business owner on a travel trailer rental business, where they would assist with transporting travel trailers, setting them up, picking them up, and cleaning them. Trailer towing is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Swimming Pool Technician is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Self-Motivation: Must work independently, manage time effectively, and take ownership of tasks.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
