Aerospace CNC Machinist (MasterCam Programmer) – Weekend Shift

We are hiring If you’re a skilled MasterCam CNC Programmer with a strong background in aerospace machining, join our dynamic team and play a critical role in producing high-precision aerospace components.

Weekend Shift:

  • 5 x 8s, typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (flexible hours available)
  • Pay: $35 - $51+/hr, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program & Set Up CNC Machines: Use MasterCam programming to create precise instructions for CNC lathes and mills.
  • Operate & Maintain Equipment: Work with CNC machines like Doosan, Haas, Mazak, and Mikron.
  • Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Interpret blueprints and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles.
  • Prototype Machining: Perform low-volume production runs (50 parts or fewer) with quick adjustments and precision.
  • Quality Control: Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.
  • Collaborate with Engineers: Improve processes, tooling, and designs in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • MasterCam Programming: Proven expertise with MasterCam for CNC programming.
  • 5-Axis Setup: Hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Aerospace Industry Experience: Skilled in machining exotic metals and high-precision aerospace components.
  • Machine Brands: Familiarity with industry-standard CNC machines like Doosan, Haas, Mazak, and Mikron.
  • Prototype Machining: Experience in small-run production (50 parts or fewer).
  • Blueprint Reading: Strong technical drawing interpretation and GD&T knowledge.
  • Quality Control: Proficiency with precision measuring tools for high-accuracy work.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
