Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary/Company: Sparks Group seeks a Workday Benefits Contractor to join the team of a large, well known government contractor in the Tysons market. We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Benefits Contractor to provide operational support and management for our benefits administration processes. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of professional experience and will excel in a dynamic environment, focusing on benefits vendor integrations, payroll processes, and system administration within the Workday HCM framework.

Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Vendor Integration Management: Oversee and troubleshoot benefits vendor integrations (inbound and outbound) to ensure seamless data flow and accurate benefits administration. Act as the technical liaison between third-party benefits vendors, internal technical teams, and benefits stakeholders.
  • Operational Support: Address and manage the current backlog of benefits requests. Provide support with benefits-related inquiries, questions, and Help Desk incidents.
  • Payroll Integration: Serve as a liaison managing inbound benefit vendor integrations and benefit deductions processes, ensuring accurate payroll processing and timely benefits deductions.
  • System Administration: Support benefits system administration by maintaining thorough documentation, assisting with configuration, conducting unit testing, defect management, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Vendor Testing.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive Process and Project Documentation, including requirements and other project artifacts, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Error Resolution: Continually monitor benefit integration outputs and performance, troubleshooting errors and identifying data trends that require robust solutions. Collaborate with internal human resources staff to resolve data discrepancies impacting benefits vendor integrations.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in benefits administration and integrations.
  • Proficiency in managing benefits vendor integrations, benefits deductions, and payroll processing cycles.
  • Excellent consultative, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience with Workday Benefits or other HCM systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Workday Benefits, Absence, HCM, Reporting, Payroll, Jira.
