Position Overview

Are you a passionate Audiologist with expertise in Cochlear Implants? Join our prestigious Neurotology team at Austin ENT Clinic We are seeking a dedicated full-time Cochlear Implant Audiologist to support our fast-paced, high-quality specialist office, working closely with Dr. Jim Kemper and Dr. Jonathan Choi.

Our practice is at the forefront of ENT healthcare, providing innovative treatments for a wide range of conditions, including hearing loss, allergies, sinus issues, and head and neck surgery.

As a Cochlear Implant Audiologist at Austin ENT, you’ll conduct independent evaluations and deliver personalized treatment plans to support patients on their journey to improved hearing. You’ll play an essential role in empowering patients and their families with education and tailored care plans, utilizing the latest in medical technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive Cochlear Implant evaluations, programming, and rehabilitation for both new candidates and established recipients.
  • Perform diagnostic assessments for a range of hearing and balance disorders.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans, including hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Educate patients on hearing conservation and effective rehabilitation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with our physicians to deliver a seamless and comprehensive patient care experience.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient records using computerized systems.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in audiology-related medical terminology.
  • Skilled in performing diagnostic evaluations, with a commitment to aseptic techniques.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage a diverse patient caseload effectively.
  • Experience with pediatric patients is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with patients and the team.
  • Leadership capabilities to guide support staff and assist in hearing aid solutions.
