Inter Lakes Bases is seeking a CNC Burning Operator Hi-Def Plasma/ Oxyfuel to join our team in Fraser, MI

Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 6:00am-4:30pm M-F or Night Shift
  • Ability to commute/relocate:
  • 17480 Malyn Blvd. Fraser, MI 48026
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Job Duties:

  • Operating MESSER machine
  • Square torch for plasma or oxy/fuel cutting/Replace consumables
  • Review work order packet to determine piece count, thickness, length, width and prints
  • Load correct material onto burning table
  • Operate burning machine to acquire first piece
  • Acquire first article inspection. See work order for instructions.
  • Upon first article approval - operate burning machine following work order requirements
  • Place product in appropriate skids, stack and remove slag
  • Unload burning table, skids- according to grade of material. Dispose of scrap into properly marked scrap containers.
  • Remove Scrap, keep track of drops

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating a burning machine is preferred
  • Messer Machine experience
  • Flame Cutting experience
  • Overhead crane experience is preferred
  • Hi-Def Plasma/Oxyfuel experience
