The Virtual Payroll and Operations Manager is responsible for the implementation, retention of accounts. At Talent Solutions Group our virtual operations team works with both internal and external stakeholders to close loops and maximize TSG rapport. The primary goals of the team are to ensure that clients derive maximum value from our services and that they receive exceptional experiences, resulting in retention and growth. Alongside client focus, the Virtual Operations Manager is responsible to measure and report on KPIs, improve processes . The best applicant for this position has strong business acumen, can oversee Payroll process using Paychecks, is computer savvy, and can properly provide operations oversight for inside and outside teams.Role can be part time or full time.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Manage Financial Transactions:
    • Record all day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy of data.
    • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables.
    • Add and oversee Payroll process using Paychecks
  • Reconcile Accounts:
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify discrepancies and resolve issues.
    • Reconcile subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Prepare Financial Statements:
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Monitor Cash Flow:
    • Track company expenses and cash flow, advising on budgeting strategies.
    • Prepare and track monthly forecasts and actuals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Has managed operations, finances, payroll and has a genuine passion for building teams and helping teams succeed
  • Experience as a CSM, Account Manager, Payroll or other similar role
  • Effectively balance competing priorities and make decisions that best support the team and the customer
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; being able to be the customer's advocate.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build successful business relationships at all levels of management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial/accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • [CPA or other relevant certification is a plus].
