About the RoleAs a Direct Tax Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in managing direct tax matters. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax regulations and contribute to the overall tax strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including international, federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns.
  • Analyze financial and accounting data to support the preparation of tax provisions under Dutch and US GAAP.
  • Conduct research and interpret tax issues to ensure compliance for operations and transactions.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to support tax compliance, planning, and reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze supporting documentation for tax filings, audits, and income tax accounting.
  • Contribute to tax planning projects, due diligence, and other initiatives to minimize tax liabilities and optimize efficiency.
  • Utilize tax technology applications to ensure accurate and compliant output.
  • Identify and communicate potential areas for improvement to the Direct Tax Leader and Country Tax Manager.
  • Support tax audits and controversies by gathering, analyzing, and generating relevant data.
  • Participate in local and global tax projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 2+ years of experience in tax, preferably in advisory or in-house roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with tax technology applications (OneSource, Alteryx, SAP S/4HANA, CCH Fixed Asset Manager) is a plus
