Secondary Operations Technician

Schedules Available:
Weekday Technicians will work 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday
1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pm
Weekend Technicians work 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday 36 hours, getting paid for 40.
Weekend Day: Friday through Sunday 5:00am - 5:00pm
Weekend Night: Friday through Sunday 5:00pm - 5:00am (Must be able to train on Weekend Day Shift)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate ammunition casing machines and BRUT equipment, ensuring quality and performance.
- Adjust feeding and mechanical components; use precision instruments to meet specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness around work area, including cleaning and mopping.
- Perform minor preventive maintenance and safely operate a forklift if needed.
- Record production and quality data, complete pre- and post-shift checklists.
- Follow sorting procedures to ensure quality and accurate data entry.
- Attend team meetings, participate in training, and follow EHS procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in math, problem-solving, and mechanical tasks.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy; industrial experience preferred.
- Capable of making quick decisions and influencing change in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and written communication; able to read, write, and calculate.
Working Conditions:
- Work is carried out in a controlled, agreeable production environment.
- Oil, coolant and noise (90db) present. Hearing protection is required.
- Technician is subject to lifting up to 50 lbs.
