Job DescriptionJob Description

Expert Staffing West is seeking experienced CNC Operators Level 1 and Level 2 (Mill / Lathe) in the city of Oceanside, CA


Pay: $19.00 - $20.00

Shift time: 2nd shift 4/10 schedule M-Thursday 4:15pm-2:45am


Requirements for Level 1:

  • Can read and understand written and oral instructions
  • Demonstrate daily adherence to all company policies and procedures, including Safety and GDP
  • Trained in using basic measurement equipment (Calipers, micrometers, drop gauges, deltronic pins, gauge blocks, specialty mics etc.)
  • Correctly load and unload parts into the machines
  • Properly record and document information on Check Sheets and Travelers


Requirements for Level 2:

(Can perform all requirements of Level 1 Operator in addition to the following below)

  • Properly perform tool changes
  • Perform tool and work offsets
  • Properly use the various Smart Scopes and toolmakers microscopes for measuring
  • Have FULL understanding of the 5-S concept and demonstrate the ability to organize the workstation and actively implement the 5-S concepts
  • Ability to audit area for the 5-S compliance
