Nerdy is searching for a full-time Academic Solutions Advisor to join our Varsity Tutors for Schools sales team The Academic Solutions Advisor is critical in bridging educational expertise with strategic tutoring solutions, partnering directly with school district leadership to develop and implement high-dosage tutoring programs that address specific academic challenges and learning needs. The individual in this role needs to exhibit a high level of professionalism and have the ability to build strong relationships with key school and district stakeholders. The Academic Solutions Advisor will be an advocate for Varsity Tutors, its brand, and its suite of learning products and programs..

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a school district administrator, curriculum director, or instructional leadership role
- Experience with federal and state educational funding mechanisms
- Background in federal title funding, intervention programs, and academic recovery strategies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing academic intervention strategies
- Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making in educational settings
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel to school districts and conferences (approximately 30-40%)
Responsibilities:
- Leverage extensive K-12 educational leadership experience to understand district-specific academic pain points and objectives
- Collaborate closely with internal sales teams to develop tailored tutoring solutions that align with district goals and student achievement strategies
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for potential and existing district clients, analyzing academic performance data, intervention requirements, and resource constraints
- Design customized high-dosage tutoring frameworks that integrate seamlessly with existing district curricula and instructional models
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations that demonstrate the potential impact of proposed tutoring solutions
- Provide expert guidance on implementation strategies, including student selection, scheduling, progress monitoring, and intervention protocols
- Serve as a technical and pedagogical resource, translating district needs into actionable, evidence-based tutoring approaches
- Participate in product development discussions to ensure solutions remain aligned with evolving educational best practices
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational research, learning acceleration strategies, and tutoring intervention methodologies
- Provide thought leadership and deliver presentations at conferences
