Kitchen Worker

We are seeking a Kitchen Worker to join the team at a new brewery in beautiful Berryville, Virginia You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our warming kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of all served food
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
• Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
• Follow standard recipes
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen, especially in a brewery or winery, is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of UNOX kitchen equipment and cooking techniques preferred but not required
• ServSafe certification a huge plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in teams
• Flexible schedule and live local
