Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs an Entry Level Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to the installation and configuration of systems, conducting routine inspections, and fire alarm maintenance. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of fire alarm technician work. This dynamic organization offers growth and development opportunities, competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. The pay range for this entry-level position is $18-$30/hour depending on experience and certifications.

Duties

•Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems

•Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and/or failures

•Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies

•Accurately record documentation related to system installations and inspections

•Ability to drive a company van and be available for an on-call rotation

•Support senior technicians in fire sprinkler fitting and fire alarm sales

•Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

Skills

•High School Diploma or equivalent required

•Basic knowledge of fire alarm and/or electrical systems

•Ability to train and work toward required licensure

•A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required

•Ability to learn and apply technical information from blueprints and schematics

•Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting and fire alarm sales is a plus
