We are seeking an Electrical FAT Inspector is responsible for overseeing and verifying the electrical testing of equipment and systems during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at manufacturers' facilities. The role ensures that all equipment complies with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards before delivery to the project site.

Electrical FAT Inspector Responsibilities
  • Verify that the equipment meets the required specifications, standards (such as IEC, IEEE), and contract requirements.
  • Review and approve test plans, procedures, and technical documentation before testing begins.
  • Ensure all electrical components are properly tested, including insulation resistance, dielectric testing, grounding, and functional performance.
  • Document and report non-conformities, discrepancies, or deviations from specifications, and recommend corrective actions to resolve them.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and best practices during the testing process.
  • Collaborate with the engineering, project management, and quality control teams to address issues and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to the client, manufacturer, and contractor teams as needed during the testing phase.
  • Stay current on relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements related to electrical systems and FAT procedures.
Electrical FAT Inspector Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical inspection, testing, or quality control, preferably within the energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical standards and codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC).
  • Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of electrical equipment and systems, including medium and low-voltage equipment.
