PC/Lan Analyst

Job Description

This position will involve daily high volume imaging of desktop and laptop computers in a fast paced environment involving order requests from Retail One Touch + Enterprise hardware refresh across the company. Duties will include but not limited to boxing/un-boxing of computers to prepare for imaging and shipping on a daily basis. Following established procedures to ensure order requests are being fulfilled accurately to include installing RAM, Hard drives, video cards, encryption software, etc. when requested as well as maintaining a high level of awareness with regards to security and quality control.

Minimum Qualifications:
Strong PC skills (hardware and software), Windows 7, including Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer. Experience with imaging and troubleshooting machines Strong attention to detail is a must Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to follow processes and ask questions when process can't be followed The Enterprise Configuration Services team works in a fast paced environment so a sense of urgency, time management and customer service are essential skills

Preferred Skills:
A+ Certification, Dell, HP, or Lenovo Hardware Repair Certifications, 1-2 years experience with imaging computers.

Top Skills' Details

1.) 2 years of PC Break Fix experience on Dell and HP,Hardware. Ability to take a part a computer and put it back together. Replace RAM, LCD's, Videocards etc. Ability to run diagnostics identify prpblem and be able to fix it- 100 laptops per day

2.) 1-2 years of mass imaging experience, through refresh/update efforts in enterprise environment (Will be imaging 30-40 computers per day, using Cosmic as imaging tool) in a warehouse environment.

3.) 2-3 years of experience working in a Windows 7 environment

Opportunity is a 12 month contract with the potential to get extended up to 24 months**
