JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs polysomnograms. Reviews patient's records including current medications. Sets up and calibrates equipment. Monitors the polysomnogram. Recognizes and records clinical and physiological events. Scores the polysomnogram and generates report. Utilizes appropriate infection control procedures. Properly handles and cleans contaminated equipment. Complies with departmental and Johnson Memorial Health (JMH) policies and procedures. Interacts with home health care services. Provides appropriate services to meet the needs of the department's customers as requested, including but not limited to the provision of accurate and timely information. Participates in Quality Improvement/Performance Improvement activities as determined by JMH administration, including JMH operations improvement. Performs other related duties as assigned. Clearly communicates and continuously supports the Mission and Values of Johnson Memorial Health. Conducts all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and Johnson Memorial Health policies and procedures including Blood and Body Substance Precautions.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

Must be a certified respiratory therapy technician or registered respiratory therapist or a registered polysomnographic technologist (R.PSG. T.). Previous education in allied health or life sciences is helpful. Current BLS for CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required.

* Bonus is intended for external candidates and requires a 24-month commitment.

SCHEDULE:


7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (three 12-hours shift per week.)
72 hours per bi-weekly pay.
