The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all technology operations, ensuring that our IT systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with business goals. This role is crucial for fostering collaboration between departments, implementing software solutions that enhance business and manufacturing processes, and delivering training to ensure all employees are empowered to utilize technology effectively. They are also responsible for managing the company’s IT infrastructure, developing strategies to improve system performance, and leading a team of IT professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and help manage all IT operations, including network administration, cybersecurity, hardware, software, and data management.
  • Help lead the implementation of new technologies to improve manufacturing processes, productivity, and overall business efficiency.
  • Act as a technology partner to all departments, including Operations, Production, Sales, and HR, to identify and implement IT solutions that streamline processes, enhance productivity, and meet business objectives.
  • Ensure the security of the company's IT infrastructure, safeguarding sensitive data and minimizing risks of cyber threats.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies and software,
  • Maintain and support the company's ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing and business operations.
  • Help to develop and deliver training programs that enhance employees’ technological skills and ensure they can effectively utilize software, hardware, and IT systems.
  • Manage IT budgets, including forecasting and cost control for equipment, software, and services.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in both in-person and remote settings.
  • Oversee IT support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues for all staff.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing relevant advancements.
  • Help create software training materials and organize training sessions
  • Enforce the company’s safety policies and procedures
  • Assist other departments with specific tasks and/or projects
  • Other duties deemed appropriate by senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience as an IT Professional, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and cloud computing.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure planning, development, and implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Follow company safety policies
