Position Overview:

Are you a construction professional with at least 5 years of experience in roofing looking to take the next step in your career? As a Roofing Siding and Gutter Project Manager / Quality Control Manager at TJR Construction, you'll oversee residential roofing, siding, and gutter projects from start to finish. This is a full-time, field-based position that requires travel throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead roofing, siding, and gutter projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Job Site Supervision: Oversee daily operations at job sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and work is progressing efficiently.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Client Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate subcontractors and crew members to achieve project goals.
  • Material and Equipment Management: Manage inventory and equipment on-site.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including photos daily logs and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing and general construction.
  • Knowledge of proper system installation for asphalt roofing, vinyl/wood siding, and aluminum gutters.
  • Ability to climb ladders and roofs to assess and manage crews, with occasional repairs.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Positive demeanor and “customer first” outlook.
  • Ability to use a smartphone for project documentation.
  • Own transportation to and from our shop, own hand tools, and a smartphone.

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay ranging from $28 to $37 per hour, based on experience.
