Schedule
  • 3-11:30 pm (2nd shift) OR 10 pm- 8:30 am (3rd shift).
Pay
  • $18.00/hr
Responsibilities
  • Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift to move materials and carry supplies;
  • Perform physically repetitive tasks: work in a fast-paced environment, bending, lifting, pushing/pulling, using stairs, reaching, scrubbing, prolonged standing and walking;
  • Work occasional from heights (ladders - 10 ft.) and in confined spaces for paint booth cleaning, industrial robotic cleaning, and machine sanitation;
  • Operation of heavy water, sand, or dry ice blasting; equipment up to 40,000 psi for industrial sanitation services in the plant (training provided);
  • Trained in LOTO procedure a plus;
  • Cleaning and maintaining industrial facilities (i.e. restrooms, offices, trash, etc.);
  • Using industrial cleaning equipment, such as power washers, steam cleaners, and industrial vacuums, to clean machinery, floors, and walls;
  • Hand scraping build up in paint booths and replacing robot covers;
  • Pit and Dyno cleaning;
  • Removing debris and waste from the site, disposing of it safely and in accordance with company policies (i.e. sludge, pits, etc.);
  • Roof drain cleaning;
  • Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including conducting routine equipment cleaning as needed;
  • Heat work/ oven cleaning;
  • Coordinating with other members of the cleaning team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of the facility;
  • Pulling and replacing felt and tar paper;
  • Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to the customer;
  • Follow all company and site instructions and building protocols;
  • Additional duties as needed/requested by manager or customer.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrialized or janitorial cleaning is considered an asset;
  • Availability to work overtime and on weekends;
  • Motivated and self-driven, with a willingness to learn;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Minimum High School level education;
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Springfield, OH for work.
