Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CPA or Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience and knowledge in accounting principles and practices, coupled with a strong commitment to client service and team collaboration. Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, providing high-quality accounting services including financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, tax planning and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client financial records, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maximizing tax-saving opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, providing proactive guidance to clients and colleagues on potential impacts and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on serving small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Strong technical proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and tax preparation software (e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
