The Opportunity:

Jebran & Abraham, PC is entering an exciting phase of growth as we expand into new industries within the finance sector. We are looking for a talented Tax Manager who is eager to take on new challenges and lead in the evolving financial landscape. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage tax engagements for small to medium-sized businesses and individuals.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies that maximize client savings and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Manage a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster their growth and development.
  • Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay current with changing tax laws and regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing personalized service and expert advice.
  • Collaborate with partners and other departments to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency within the firm.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and other tax-related documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation.
  • Proven experience in a managerial tax role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Experience with tax planning, compliance, and consulting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Prosystems FX is a plus.
