Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with experience in the fashion or retail industry to craft seamless, engaging digital experiences for our brand. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design visually compelling interfaces that elevate our online presence and reflect our brand’s aesthetic. This role focuses on optimizing the customer journey across digital platforms, driving both usability and conversion, while ensuring consistency with our brand’s visual identity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with design, marketing, engineering, analytics, and digital merchandising teams to understand customer needs and business objectives, ensuring designs align with brand goals.
  • Design visually compelling user interfaces: Create seamless, on-brand digital experiences for the website and other digital platforms, focusing on user-centered design and visual aesthetics.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs: Bring concepts to life using design tools, balancing usability and aesthetic appeal, with a special focus on fashion-related content and product pages.
  • Conduct usability testing: Gather user feedback through interviews, surveys, and interaction data analysis. Refine designs to improve user satisfaction, focusing on optimizing shopping journeys and product exploration.
  • Perform UX research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and research to develop personas, journey maps, and insights that guide the overall design strategy.
  • Maintain and evolve digital design guidelines: Ensure consistent application of the brand's visual identity across all digital platforms, ensuring each touchpoint reflects the brand’s fashion-forward ethos.
  • Present design concepts: Articulate your design process to stakeholders, explaining how your work aligns with user needs, fashion trends, and business goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends: Continuously monitor e-commerce, fashion, UX design, and technology trends to ensure our digital offerings remain fresh, engaging, and innovative.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in UX web design roles.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: in UX/UI design, preferably for consumer-facing digital products within the retail or fashion industries.
  • Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing your expertise in crafting intuitive, engaging digital experiences.
  • Proficiency in Tools: Strong knowledge of design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Suite) with the ability to create polished, high-fidelity designs.
  • User-Centered Design Expertise: Deep understanding of user-centered and responsive design principles, with a proven ability to deliver designs that enhance the shopping experience.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Highly Organized: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced fashion environment.
