Job Title: Environmental Services Technician

Location: The Argyle Assisted Living Community – Denver, CO (Berkeley Neighborhood)

Organization: Ladies Relief Society of Denver, dba The Argyle Assisted Living Community

Position Overview: The Argyle Assisted Living Community is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to join our team, providing essential room and unit turnover services. This role is focused on creating a welcoming, safe, and functional environment through tasks such as painting, ceiling tile replacement, and minor repairs between occupancy of resident rooms. As a nonprofit organization with deep roots in the Denver community, we are committed to providing unreasonable hospitality, where the little details make a big impact on the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform room/unit turnover tasks, including:
    • Preparing and painting walls, trim, and surfaces
    • Replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and other fixtures as needed
    • Conducting minor repairs to ensure units meet safety and quality standards
    • Maintaining accurate records of all turnover and maintenance activities via the TELS room turn platform
  • Ensure timely turnover to support new move-ins and room changes, working closely with other departments
  • Take pride in creating a clean, inviting environment that promotes dignity and comfort for all
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade or technical certifications are a plus
  • Experience in maintenance, construction, or environmental services, particularly in painting, minor repairs, and general facility upkeep
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Commitment to customer service, hospitality, and maintaining a positive, empathetic attitude toward residents and staff
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and perform repetitive motions during the shift
