We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to clients across various age groups. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to our mission of empowering individuals to communicate effectively and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with clients and their families to set achievable goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve clients' speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication skills.
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques to support communication development and improve functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
  • Clinical fellowship experience or 1-2 years of clinical experience in speech therapy, preferably in home health care.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, including experience with a variety of communication disorders and populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other relevant software applications.
