We are currently seeking an experienced tax professional to fill a Manager role on our tax team.

In this role you will:

  • Review business and individual federal and state income tax returns
  • Prepare complex business and individual federal and state income tax returns
  • Manage, plan, and prioritize tax projects and provide examination support
  • Perform tax research, planning, and consulting tailored for clients’ circumstances
  • Communicate with clients regarding tax service engagements
  • Work closely with the firm partners and staff
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for other tax professionals
  • Manage budget, production, and performance goals
  • Use CCH Axcess suite of tax preparation software, including ProFx Engagement

Qualified Candidates should have:

  • Progressive public accounting tax experience in a managerial level role with supervisory experience preferred
  • CPA License in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of federal tax reporting requirements related to privately held businesses and individuals
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Self-motivated and driven to provide excellent client service
  • Positive attitude towards work, co-workers, clients and life
  • Ability and willingness to work seasonal overtime

 Preferred candidates will also have the following:

  • Masters in Tax
  • Experience servicing the construction and real estate industries
  • Experience filing multi-state, estate and gift tax returns
  • Experience using CCH Axcess suite of tax preparation software including ProFX Engagement
