Electronics Manufacturing Engineer Manager

Responsible for all electronic chassis assemblies’ engineering development and implementation for production equipment such as circuit card assemblies, backplanes, cables, and harnesses.
Establishes overall manufacturing work instructions and specifications to ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop cost estimates for circuit card assemblies, backplanes, cables, and harnesses. Standard labor time and costed bills of materials by evaluating customer’s documentation package.
Develops Visual aid using Aegis FactoryLogix
Creates and maintains manufacturing visual aids and routings, bills of material, detailed assembly and inspection instructions as required to process manufacturing orders.
Creates tooling and fixturing to facilitate production.
Monitors the costs, schedules, and performance of major contracts
Review engineering ECO packages for signoff.
Reviews, approves, and/or develops specifications for purchases.
Resolves technical problems encountered during the production process.
Reviews requests for quotation ensuring information is a complete-statement of work, quantity, and special instructions.
Evaluates the estimated cost vs. the actual cost of past production orders and correct routing times and BOMs to reflect data accurately.
Responsible for Technology Roadmap for advanced electronics technology.
Experience
Five (5) years of experience in a similar role
College degree a plus.
