Enterprise Architect Consultant

Overview: Ignite your career with Ember Group Consulting as an Enterprise Architect. You will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic transformation of a rapidly growing technology organization. You will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the overall architecture of our IT systems, ensuring they align with our business objectives and are efficient, scalable, and secure.

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architecture:

  • Ability to co-create suggestions enterprise architecture roadmap, aligning it with the organization's business strategy within large organizations. 
  • Conduct technology assessments and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Define and communicate the enterprise architecture vision to stakeholders.
  • Develop and document high-level architecture blueprints, including application, data, infrastructure, and security components.
  • Ensure that the architecture adheres to industry best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify and address architectural challenges.
  • Establish and enforce governance policies and procedures for IT architecture.
  • Evaluate and approve technology investments and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide architectural guidance for specific projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that solutions align with the enterprise architecture.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and technology vendors.
  • Facilitate consensus and alignment among stakeholders.

Technology Integration:

  • Play a critical role in integrating our systems with third-party organizations.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to establish seamless connections, automate workflows, and enhance our overall capabilities.
  • Research and select appropriate integration solutions.
  • Develop and implement integration strategies.
  • Ensure data accuracy and security throughout the integration process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Strong knowledge of various IT technologies and platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
