Job DescriptionJob Description

General Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain application solutions using the eCase case management platform.
Modify migration tools to bring data and documents from legacy applications to OPEXUS’ software solutions.
Diagnose application performance across client-side code, network communication, web-service processing, relational database design, and web-service interactions.
Maintain and support existing applications, providing suggestions on ways to optimize or enhance.
Provide technical training and support to clients when necessary.
Participate in project planning/estimation with project managers.
Convert and integrate data and content for use in databases.
Stay abreast of current technology and seek out new tools that can be utilized appropriately.
Make suggestions that improve programming techniques, applications, documentation, and client deliverables.
Engage in problem definition and solution implementation according to client needs.


Required Skills and Experience:
5 to 7 years of experience in .NET web development including C#.NET; ASP.NET; HTML; CSS; XML; JavaScript; JQuery, AJAX; interface design; IIS, MS Visual Studio IDE; and relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle or My SQL
Must be a US citizen (subject to background investigation), and live in the DC metro area (we require 2 days in our office)
Must hold an active Secret clearance.
Familiarity with Department of State, USAID, and foreign aid agencies.
Clearance:
US citizenship. Could be subject to background investigation.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree. Computer Science is preferred.
