The Consumer Experience Manager will lead a data-driven approach to product development, driving growth and enhancing the customer experience across the Store Brand portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Consumer Experience and Innovation, this leadership role will oversee the end-to-end management of consumer insights projects, competitive analysis, and the development of actionable strategies to support the Store Brand portfolio. You will collaborate cross-functionally with the Store Brands Growth & Innovation team, product development teams, and stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.

This role requires strong leadership, data analytics expertise, and the ability to drive innovation and category growth through actionable insights and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Strategic Planning:

  • Lead the Consumer Experience process, including scoping category projects, portfolio review, and prioritizing opportunities.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with product development and Merchant teams to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a high-performing, innovative, and customer-focused culture.

Consumer Insights & Analytics:

  • Oversee consumer sentiment analysis to identify key drivers of satisfaction and areas for improvement.
  • Lead competitive benchmarking using advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning and NLP (e.g., sentiment analysis, topic modeling).
  • Deliver compelling data visualizations and presentations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights effectively.

Product Development Support:

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timelines align with Planogram schedules for timely product launches.
  • Guide financial impact analyses and ensure the implementation of data-driven solutions to enhance the product portfolio.
  • Oversee consumer sampling campaigns, ensuring actionable feedback is integrated into the product development process.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, quality assurance, or manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving successful outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with experience working with all levels of management.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in Python, R, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience with machine learning and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
  • Experience in building and managing data visualization dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with consumer product categories and competitive landscape analysis.
