Purpose:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join Seerist, a growing company that is creating the most exciting technology and tools for predictive security analysis on the market.

This role will drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of Seerist’s global intelligence team, composed of skilled researchers and intelligence managers. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that the analytical content on our platform remains timely, relevant, and actionable for Seerist’s diverse client base. Working closely with our editors and analysts, you’ll shape coverage on key risk issues and contribute to building best-in-class intelligence programs and content strategies.

As a central figure on Seerist’s intelligence team, you will oversee the development and refinement of our OSINT tradecraft program, setting the standard for intelligence methodologies that meet and anticipate industry shifts. Partnering closely with the Global Head of Intelligence, you will engage strategically with Sales and Customer Success teams, providing clients with critical insights that underscore Seerist’s value proposition.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Lead the operations of a global team of researchers and intelligence managers.
  • Responsible for quality control of analytical content on platform to ensure it is timely, relevant, and actionable to Seerist’s client base. This will include engaging directly with editors and analysts to shape coverage across risk issues.
  • Play a leading role in the development of intelligence programs and content strategies for Seerist.
  • Develop and maintain a rigorous OSINT tradecraft development program.
  • Drive critical review and revision of existing analytical products and methodologies and create new analytical product lines.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success Management (CSM) teams to participate in client-facing meetings, providing intelligence expertise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and work across teams in Seerist to ensure content is meeting client needs, both corporate and government, and feedback is incorporated.
  • Support the Head of Intelligence on other projects relevant to Seerist’s content strategy. This will include further integration of AI/ML models with human analysts and data science initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of extensive experience in intelligence and analysis, in either a government, commercial or private sector context
  • Experience using intelligence tradecraft, with a strong track record in developing and applying methodologies to assess threat and risk
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with experience providing constructive feedback and presenting to diverse, high-level audiences.
  • Proven track record of independently managing and delivering on multiple, concurrent projects with complex stakeholder engagement.
  • Comfortable translating high-level complex goals and concepts into actionable work plans
  • In-depth knowledge of political and security risk dynamics, with the capability to contextualize and apply these insights to a broad client base.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset, comfortable working in an agile, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Based at Seerist’s HQ in Reston with hybrid office hours

  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and complex projects, particularly across time zones
  • Familiarity with threat analysis tools and a demonstrated interest in advancing intelligence capabilities
