SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing outstanding Guest Service and a great gaming experience for our patrons. Representatives should construct beneficial relationships with our patrons by providing information about Player Services Rewards and assisting them to access those rewards. Responsible for assisting Guests with transactions and for balancing various bank drawers within the Player Services Department, maintaining accuracy throughout all phases of the balancing process. A representative is expected to maintain a high courtesy standard with all Guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ability to explain existing Rewards accurately to all Guests and distributes information on how to access those rewards.
  • Ability to explain current and upcoming promotions accurately to all Guests .
  • Understands and follows all promotional submissions rules
  • Follows all Departmental and Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Distributes accurate information about upcoming events
  • Must always follow The Golden Rule with guests and co-workers.
  • Must use discretion and maintain confidentiality with player information.
  • Assists Player Services Mgr/ Supervisor, as needed, with Promotional/Events related matters.
  • Maintains an image of excellence in service for Santa Claran Hotel & Casino.
  • Assists patrons with conflict resolution related to casino matters.
  • Recruits New Club Memberships from the gaming floor.
  • Maintains the availability of Player Services operational tools by restocking paperwork and requesting supplies from Supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Reports any discrepancies on the Player Tracking System as they might occur.
  • Maintains the company’s interest in mind at all times when assisting patrons with problems.
  • Book all SCDC amenities for our VIP guests (hotel reservations, Golf tee times, etc.)
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively on a microphone.
  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the front-line windows
  • Assist Guests with a variety of transactions, Check Cashing, Cash Advance, Sports Book Tickets,SDS Tickets, and kiosk incomplete dispense payouts.
  • Responsible for replenishing and balancing the front-line window.
  • Complying with theTitle-31 and W2-G reporting procedures.
  • Comply with the Player Service Representative Department Variance Policy
  • Assists other Player Service Representatives within the department, as needed.
  • Computing accurate exchange rates for the various currencies received.
  • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental transactions, records and reports.
  • Responsible for maintaining a regular, consistent attendance record.
  • Facilitates the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
  • Helps clean and sanitize work area as directed
  • All other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Some college courses in Banking and Finance or related area preferred.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively by reading, writing and speaking in English fluently
  • Must 21 years of age or older
