Marcum Search LLC the National Recruiting Division of Marcum LLP is recruiting for a Technical Accounting/Quality Control Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Implement strategies to comply with new accounting standards, analyze impacts, (internally and externally)
- Lead Due Diligence and Technical review of audit engagements
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls for technical compliance firm wide.
- Manage & enhance Quality Control systems and provide end user training, (policies, standards, library, etc)
- Lead Quality Control and Audit initiatives, (transformation, automation, technology implementations, etc)
- Develop and monitor new internal controls, and coordinate Peer Reviews.
- Ensure compliance to established audit processes, manage end user training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Public Accounting & Audit experience
- CPA certification.
- 5+ years of Technical Accounting and Quality Control exposure
For job requisitions posted to certain locations, Marcum Search is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range. This compensation range is specific to certain locations and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
Compensation for this role will ideally be between $130-160k+Bonus
