Job Title: Pest Control Service Technician
Location: De Soto, KS
Pay: Starting Salary $42,000/YR

Work Schedule:

  • Initial 30 Days: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30 Min. Lunch)
  • After 30 Days:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
    • Tuesday and Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • One Saturday per month: Choose your Saturday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pest Control Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality pest control services to residential and commercial clients, helping them maintain safe, pest-free environments. This role involves inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, implementing pest management solutions, and educating clients on prevention techniques.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems.
  • Develop and implement customized pest control treatment plans using approved products and techniques.
  • Safely handle and apply pesticides and other pest control solutions in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on pest prevention, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including details of services provided and pest activity reports.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals, equipment, and materials.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of clients and team members.
  • Maintain and clean all equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, pest behavior, and pest control methods.

 

Criteria Requirements:

  • Complete and pass all required certifications.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Tobacco-Free Environment (ALL forms including vaping), NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • No facial piercings or visible tattoos on the hands, face, or neck.
  • All technicians must be clean-shaven.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to safely use ladders within the manufacturer's weight limit of 250 lbs.
  • Can pass a drug screen.
  • Able to safely access crawlspaces and attics.
