Position is located in Romeo.

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

• Operate machine tools to fabricate and manufacture parts used in the manufacturing processes
• Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts
• Selects the appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used on machines
• Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure it conforms with predetermined specifications
• Adjusts machine controls to resolve any production errors
• Inspects machinery for any needed repairs and reports to Tool Room Manager
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area
• Complies with applicable safety standards and regulation
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining
• Ability to read blueprints and plans
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Time Management skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, a must
• Ability to work methodically to meet established deadlines
• Vocational/Technical training required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time
• Dependable

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 4:30 pm., Saturdays may be expected from 6 am - noon.

Hours are subject to change
