Lil' Dove Cafe is a cozy, community-focused coffee shop in Jersey City Heights, dedicated to providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for our customers. We pride ourselves on serving high-quality coffee, delicious food, and fostering a sense of community.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and friendly Barista & Front of House Team Member to join our team If you love coffee, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and workstations.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Promote and educate customers about our menu items, including seasonal specials.

Qualifications:

  • Previous barista or customer service experience preferred, but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Passion for coffee and a desire to learn about brewing techniques and espresso preparation.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
