TITLE AND SURVEY COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL URGENTLY NEEDED by a substantial, well-respected suburban firm offering highly competitive compensation and benefits as well as a hybrid working arrangement

* The candidate will be responsible to review and summarize title insurance commitments and underlying exceptions; negotiation of title insurance policies and endorsements; review and understanding of plats and surveys; familiarity with loan documents; review and summarize UCC, judgments, tax, litigation and other lien searches; review of zoning reports. Will perform due diligence for commercial real estate transactions including researching and retrieving public records, reviewing legal descriptions. Assist in the closing of commercial real estate, including but not limited to, estoppels certificates, deeds. Understanding of and creation of legal entities.

*This position interacts with attorneys, clients, adversaries, title company, vendors, etc. Must have excellent client service skills.

*Qualifications: The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience handling title and survey for commercial real estate. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient with document management, Microsoft office products and comfortable learning new software platforms. Candidate must be able to manage and prioritize multiple assignments with multiple attorneys simultaneously.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit and/or stand creating documents, binders, plans for extended periods; must be able to operate a computer; utilize standard office equipment. Standing, bending, stooping, reaching required.
