About the role:
As the primary leader in the region, the Market President is responsible for business development and mentoring the sales staff in the SW Ohio region. This role will drive strategies and set the standards for CFBank's sales/client service culture through the Bank's commercial relationships. This position reports directly to the President of CFBank and works closely executive team.
What you'll do:
* Review and recommend objectives and procedures to fit company policies, working directly with the Executive team to establish and communicate organizational goals.
* Track performance and mentor team to meet individual/team goals.
* Oversee business banking and general business development in a particular region.
* Increase customer base and impact the Bank's bottom line.
* Identify and screen new business opportunities for prospective clients and establish strategic relationships.
* Ensure credit quality of product portfolios are at acceptable levels, coordinating with credit staff and work-out staff as needed.
* Assist commercial/business banking staff with larger complex relationships, offering expertise and guidance as needed.
* Seek opportunities to promote the services of the Bank through marketing, networking, and referrals.
* Comply with internal security policies and procedures and maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
* Adhere to all regulations, policies, and record-keeping requirements. Complete all required training related to bank regulations and policies.
Desired Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree in a Business or Finance related field, and/or equivalent experience is required.
* Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to drive results/meet goals.
* Established market and network connections.
* 10+ years of experience highly preferred as a Commercial Lender with a solid book of C&I business.
