Join our team as a Director of Risk Management and PI

 

The Director of Risk Management and PI assist the leadership, medical staff, and Quality Council in designing, planning, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive and integrated regulatory and compliance program. In this position, I will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization's compliance with regulatory standards and promoting continuous quality improvement. This position will oversee developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive risk management and performance improvement program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support daily regulatory and compliance activities.
  • Analyze department/service performance measures and coordinate reports.
  • Maintain records of performance improvement activities and statistical data.
  • Advise and assist departments on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and document quality and compliance meetings.
  • Maintain records of completed reviews, evaluations, and quality team activities.
  • Analyze incident reports, surveys, and complaints to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Attend and participate in relevant committees and department meetings.
  • Share data and information with appropriate committees and departments.
  • Assist with Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and state surveys.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in risk management, quality improvement, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Experience in budget development and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in requirements analysis, operations research, and legal compliance.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles and methodologies.
  • Financial planning and strategy expertise.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

 

 

Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nursing or a health-related field is preferred.

Experience: 2-3 years experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting involving quality improvement preferred.

Additional Requirements: Licensed to practice nursing or mental health related field in the State of Georgia preferred; computer skills involving knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and business writing, preferred
