It is an exciting time to be part of Choreo We are expanding our Marketing team and seeking an Assistant Vice President of Advisor Growth Marketing.

This is an advisor-facing role, and part of a broad mandate at Choreo. It requires creative and nimble thinking, and an individual who can think strategically and scalably as well as implementing tactically. As an expert in financial advisor marketing and growth, the successful candidate is familiar with advisor growth challenges, loves working with advisors, and is innately capable of inspiring exceptional rapport with advisors. As AVP, Advisor Growth Marketing, you'll focus on strategically developing and executing advisor marketing content and marketing strategies designed to expand Choreo's vision to serve as the preferred wealth partner to the tax professional community. Your expertise in growth marketing strategy, Center of Influence cultivation (CPAs and Estate attorneys) and content development will span traditional and digital media. You will support our organic growth objectives by maximizing marketing content in synergy with Choreo brand messaging and thought leadership across multiple platforms to drive engagement, lead generation, education, and retention. Because this position will build and manage regional marketing strategies that drive client acquisition and retention, candidates should have demonstrable experience in both the B2B and B2C wealth management sectors. An understanding of financial advisors, the CPA and tax professional industry, as well as expertise in influencer (COI) marketing is ideal.

The AVP Advisor Growth Marketing will report to the VP Advisor Growth Marketing and work closely with other Growth Marketing team members, various lines of business leaders and stakeholders across the organization to help deliver advisor and client experiences that achieve desired business growth outcomes.

What you will do:

  • In conjunction with VP Advisor Growth Marketing and existing AVP, Advisor Growth Marketing, execute end-to-end marketing strategies that materially cement and grow brand awareness, prospecting opportunities and client engagement in support of Choreo advisors and their growth efforts, including Center of Influence cultivation and best practices. You'll refine strategies to maximize advisor engagement and enthusiasm for marketing through multiple distribution channels (blogs, podcasts, seminars, networking events and speaking opportunities, etc.).
  • Write emails, campaigns, social posts, presentation decks as needed.
  • Support individual advisor/team/office marketing needs as requested.
  • Support regional advisor leadership in development of strategic marketing plans and oversee their execution. Create and execute regional marketing plans that demonstrate a clear understanding of advisor teams, clients and prospects. Align regional needs to national resource to understand and prioritize opportunity and growth potential.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of Choreo's multichannel marketing platform for each Choreo advisor, and act as field marketing coach to ensure ongoing marketing consistency and strategic measurement/diagnostics to drive additional business opportunities for advisors.
  • Deploy editorial calendars that support national and regional campaigns, spanning insights, trends, proprietary research, reports, client storytelling, and solutions-focused content for clients, prospects, and CPA prospects/partners.
  • Leverage performance metrics to understand what content resonates, by topic/theme, message, channel, and format and use learnings to inform future campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple Marketing teammates to leverage website and social media channels to build audience and attract prospects.
  • Effectively communicate the impact of marketing campaigns to internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report on real-time performance metrics.
  • Understand data implications and extract relevant, actionable insights using strong problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of Choreo's business objectives to help achieve organic and inorganic business growth goals.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years of related marketing experience in financial services, with strong emphasis on advisor partnership with the tax, legal and professional services community
  • 7+ years of B2B and B2B2C campaign and demonstrated growth marketing success.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with technical and creative teams, as well as with various lines of business leaders, to define requirements and execute strategies.
  • Proven track record of building strategic consensus among stakeholders that results in measurable growth outcomes.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and excellent research capabilities; self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of special projects.
  • Manage relationships and work closely with agency and vendor partners, as necessary.
  • Able to operate with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Familiarity with federal regulations governing marketing and advertising in the financial services industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including OneDrive and SharePoint, and Salentica CRM Environment
  • Experience with Power BI preferred
  • Bachelor's degree marketing, communications or a related field

Expected annual salary ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 plus incentive compensation. Salary is negotiable based on location, experience, and qualifications.
