Care Force Homes, Inc. in Milaca is looking for compassionate and motivated caregivers to join our team and provide life-changing support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting.

Position Details
Hours: Full-Time (Average 37 hours)
  • Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Every other Saturday/Sunday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Compensation:
  • $16.00/hour (No experience)
  • $16.50/hour (With experience)
  • Paid sick time
  • Paid vacation for employees working 30+ hours weekly
  • Health Insurance for employees working 36+ hours weekly
  • Holiday pay at 1.5x for working 8 designated holidays
What You’ll Do as a Direct Support Professional (DSP):
  • Help implement daily activities and support individuals in their routines
  • Foster independence at home and in the community—some individuals enjoy home life while others are active in community activities
  • Maintain records of progress and services provided
  • Assist with home upkeep and complete light cleaning tasks
  • Provide compassionate care and guidance, while empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals
What You Bring:
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, and computer-based)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Ability to pass a State background check (per MN statutes)
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, depending on the setting
  • Flexibility to cover shifts when needed
