Transactional Attorney

Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an attorney with one to three years of transactional experience to join our commercial lending team. This individual will work with a variety of lenders across the country on documenting and closing small business commercial loans, including secured transactions, start-ups, commercial real estate, franchise and business acquisitions. The attorney will be responsible for:

• preparing commitment letters, term sheets and deal specific checklists,

• reviewing credit approvals and due diligence,

• drafting and negotiating commercial loan documents, and

• coordinating closing and funding, and handling post-closing, as required.

Will have the option to work remotely or from our offices in Atlanta, GA or Maitland, FL, but must be available to travel to firm or client meetings and conferences for a few days at least 2-3 times a year.

Real estate, corporate and lending experience is considered a plus. Applicant must be bright, dedicated, self-reliant, detail oriented and possess excellent communication skills. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefits package.
