Title: Rental Agent/Tax Credit Specialist

Reports To: Property Manager

Location: Holyoke, MA

Essential Job Functions Include (but are not limited to):

·         Updating waiting list.

·         Marketing and advertising vacant units.

·         Working with multiple subsidies (Housing Authority, Home Base, Project Base Section 8, RAD Program, etc.).

·         Knowledge of LIHTC or Certified Tax Credit Specialist.

·         Knowledge of Fair Housing.

·         Processing qualified applicants for available units.

·         Completing move-in paper work and preparing new tenant files.

·         Running reports (such as vacancy report, all residents’ reports, etc.)

·         Inspecting units prior to move in and at move out with Maintenance Supervisor.

·         Knowledge of RealPage/Onesite, Excel and Word, fax and copy machines.

·         Answer calls and direct calls to proper department. Provide general information to the public.

·         Taking work orders and other delegated tasks.

Qualifications:

·         Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Experience with housing preferred. Training provided.

·         Drug and background check mandatory. EOE.

Benefits: Health Insurance, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time

Salary range: $40,000 - $45,000 plus bonus
