Referral Coordinator

Salary: $ $24.45 starting, DOE.
Benefit Highlights:

Job Duties:
- Monitors eCW throughout the day to capture referral requests in real time.
- Prepare electronic Treatment Authorization Requests (eTAR), and pre-authorizations as required.
- Utilizes third party payer/insurance portals.
- Ensures proper use of CPT and current ICD 10 codes to meet the requirements of third party payers and specialty clinics.
- Assemble information concerning patient's clinical background and referral needs per referral guidelines, provide appropriate clinical information to specialist.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year medical office experience with previous hands-on knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal Managed care, Medicare, private insurance and other alternate resources.
- One year customer service experience, answering multi-line phone calls and using computer based applications in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of ICD-10
