Carolina International Trucks, Inc. is a family owned and operated network of dealerships and is one of the largest medium and heavy-duty truck dealerships in the Southeast. We are looking for a leader who is customer and sales driven, as well as a true team motivator who is eager to exceed their goals. If this describes you, please apply for our General Manager position at our Florence and Conway locations.

You will be responsible for the successful management of dealership operations including Truck Sales, Parts, and Service departments. You will serve on the leadership team and work collaboratively to ensure the success of the company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Coach, train and develop sales staff in product knowledge, selling, and relationships building with customers.
  • Prospect and identify potential customers.
  • Maintain & encourage high dealership energy & morale,
  • Build and maintain business relationships with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and other key relationships.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Experience and Skills needed for this role:

  • 5- 10 years medium to heavy-duty truck dealership experience
  • Valid Driver's and CDL license or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Must live or be willing to relocate within 30 miles or 45 minutes proximity to the dealership location.
  • Extensive knowledge in the trucking industry, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College, preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Superior problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well Developed Time Management & Organizational Skills.
